IN A PACKED ART GALLERY in Soho Tuesday night, House of Diehl delivered another incredible fashion experience to a cheering, high-energy crowd that included photographers Mick Rock and Dah Len, hip-hop artist Gloria Velez, singer Amerie, actor Norman Reedus, and camera crews from as far afield as China and the UK.
THE SHOW MARKED THE DAZZLING runway debut of Donna Summers daughter Amanda Sudano, and a stunning first catwalk from New York City Ballets Principal Dancer, Maria Kowroski, who included some classic ballet moves on the runway.
HOUSE OF DIEHL PRESENTED sharp suits and sleek dresses in silk chiffon, charmeuse, and lambskin, with vintage details and intricate hand-beading. Strong yet soft, the work drew from both golden-age Hollywood and rocknroll iconographylending the emotional magnetism of both to todays woman. Wonderful make-up from Shiseido and hairstyles from T3 added to the infectious energy and powerful looks.

House of Diehl was part of the Black Book 25 exhibition that opened at Deitch Projects, NYC, during fashion week.
